Light figure 8 device for belaying and rappelling in harsh conditions. The figure 8 works even on frozen stiff ropes. There are two ways to use this device with a convex side that applies less friction and a concave side that applies more friction. The Asymmetrical curve shape guarantees different frictions depending on which side is used. Cooling Technology perimeter holes allow more airflow therefore less heat build and a lighter weight.
