When our region was ripped apart by the April 2007 tornadoes that ravaged the South, we at TAS realized the depth of despair and hurt that is experienced in such storms. Therefore we have started trying to aid others that are experiencing the same grief we felt here.  After the 2007 storms we spent months trying to aid our community in rebuilding and housing those who came as volunteers.  We have also sent monetary and material aid to New York and Joplin, MO after their storms.  After the Oklahoma storms hit we were able to partner with The Courage to send many teams to help with clean up and handing out supplies there.  Our desire is to continue such efforts not only in the U.S. but around the world as needed.  We are always willing to take other volunteers along on our efforts or send aid when we physically cannot go.  If you would like more information on how to join with us, you can email us at
